The State of Florida area also includes Hillsborough, Sarasota, Pinellas, Pasco and Sarasota Counties. The Tampa Bay area also includes cities and townships of Tampa, St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Largo, Temple Terrace, Lutz, Land O Lakes, and Plant City, to name a few.

If you refuse to take a breath, blood, or urine test after being arrested, or if results of your breath test were .08% or above, your license will be suspended unless a written demand for an administrative hearing is filed within 10 days after arrest.

Driving Under the Influence is one offense, proved by impairment of normal faculties or unlawful blood alcohol or breath alcohol level of .08 or above. The penalties upon conviction are the same, regardless of the manner in which the offense is proven. At court's discretion, sentencing terms may be served in a residential alcoholism or drug abuse treatment program. If second conviction within 5 years, mandatory imprisonment of at least 10 days. At least 48 hours of confinement must be consecutive. Third Conviction: If third conviction within 10 years, mandatory imprisonment of at least 30 days. At least 48 hours of confinement must be consecutive.
